Amazon reveals plans to ship your packages before you've even purchased them
Delivery of the future?
Online retail giant Amazon have revealed a new patent called 'anticipatory shipping' - a system which utilises technology to enable Amazon to send packages to regions where they can predict what will be purchased ahead of time. This new scheme will massively cut delivery time and potentially place the online outlet ahead of its competitors.
The new technology reportedly works by using the previous searches and purchases of its customers, their wish lists and how long the users cursor hovers on top of an item online. It is unclear when Amazon will launch the new shipping but concept, but coupled with the speculated drone concept - Amazon could be with you in a little-to-no time in the near future.
