Al Habtoor City's hotel complex is set to open later this year, and with it will come an all-weather tennis academy – the UAE's first. The state of the art facility will feature air conditioned courts that can be used throughout the year, as well as a range of outdoor courts for players to enjoy during the cooler months.
Access to the academy will be open to guests at any of the three hotel's onsite – St Regis Dubai, W Dubai- Al Habtoor City, Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City – and residents of the live-in towers. Membership to the sports facilities will also be available for annual purchase giving outside members access to courts:
Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, chairman of the Al Habtoor Group said: "The indoor tennis pavilion will allow tennis enthusiasts to play all-year-round no matter what the weather. This is very unique to Dubai." He added: "From all the tennis courts there are lovely views of the St Regis Gardens. You won't get this anywhere else."
As well as being able to enjoy the stunning landscaped views, players can learn from resident tennis professionals, who will be on hand to cater to lessons and one-on-one coaching. That's game, set and match to Al Habtoor City.
