Emirati fashion designer Yasmin Al Mulla is celebrating her beloved country in more ways than one. This UAE National Day, Yasmin not only fronted Tiffany & Co.‘s National Day campaign to mark the nation’s 49th birthday by fronting a limited-edition Emerald Key, but also teamed up with Maison Christian Dior for an extremely exquisite box and chocolate delicacy.
Today, we’ve asked Yasmin to exclusively share a few words to celebrate her Emirati heritage.
What are you most proud of being Emirati?
I feel very proud of our heritage, culture, and history. The United Arab Emirates is captivating multiculturalism of nationalities and ethnicities all living in unity together; and this what makes us stronger.
What would your love letter be to the citizens of the UAE?
You are living in a country where we are all being supported in all aspects. Use your chances, appreciate your education, treasure your dreams, and believe in your goals, but always remember that there is a room for everyone — We rise by lifting others!
How does the UAE empower its citizens and residents?
Beautifully! The UAE is a country well known for its humanity and generosity, and provides endless opportunities, overwhelming support, and extraordinary privileges to all nationalities. Here in the UAE, your performance, talent, and education matters more than anything, we celebrate the person before everything else.
