Let's move!

Beyoncé responds to the First Lady's social media video challenge in light of a new campaign to urge the world to stay healthy – called 'Give Me Five' – which celebrates five years since the project was inaugurated in 2010...

For the last five years First Lady, Michelle Obama has attempted to tackle childhood obesity with her 'Let's Move' initiative, which encourages children to live a healthier lifestyle. Announcing the latest challenge, the First Lady took to social media to share her new campaign video, which features her husband and the President of the United States, Barack Obama. The 'Give Me Five' campaign video challenges the world to share five ways to be healthy via social media and encourage their followers to do the same.

One of the first celebrities to accept the challenge was Beyoncé, who posted a 15 second video of herself working out in the gym last week on Instagram. Using a time-lapse app, the mother of one showed her 27.2 million followers a snippet of her exercise regime using the hashtag #GimmeFive and tagging Michelle Obama, who later reposted the fun clip to Twitter and Instagram.
