Must try: Celebirty favourite, Serendipity 3
Dubai will be home to the first Serendipity 3 outlets outside of the US, come January. The iconic New York eatery, and celebrity hot spots, serve up whimsical desserts including that Frrrozen hot chocolate. Celebrities that have patronised the place include Andy Warhol, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. One of the highlights in the history of the restaurant is its 50th anniversary celebration in 2004 when it whipped up an ice-cream sundae aptly named the Golden Ouplence, which was sprinkled with 23K gold leaf and topped with an exclusive dessert caviar. The price? A record-breaking Dhs3700.
Serendipity 3 is set to make its international debut at City Walk 2 and Dubai Festival City January, 2016.
