Laurent Chéhère debuts a quirky new exhibition of 'Flying Houses'
Art defies gravity
Parisian photographer, Laurent Chéhère, has turned the world upside down in his newest series, Flying Houses. The images have been created through a combination of digital manipulation with analog photography and are characteristically fanciful for the French artist.
The preview seen here, shows charmingly dishevelled Parisian homes, floating away as if lighter than air, tethered by electric cables, the only suggestion that they were once grounded.
The showcase of Flying Houses is at Muriel Guépin Gallery in New York until February 22. Enjoy a preview of his collection below:
