Ian Strange lands his installation in front of The Art Gallery of South Australia
Inspired by the artist's own home
Australian artist Ian Strange has unveiled his latest architectural work 'Landed', which as its name suggests, appears to have fallen from the sky and landed in front of The Art Gallery of South Australia.
The site-specific installation is based on the design of the artist's own 1920s suburban home. The house is surrounded by debris, which enhances the crash effect and offers a playful nod to the popular movie The Wizard of Oz.
