The ultimate luxury: Dubai to host the first Bugatti-styled homes
Speed stands still
Speed stands still as Dubai prepares to welcome a new design first – ETTORE971 – the Bugatti-styled homes in the Akoya Oxygen development by Damac Properties. For the first time the elite record holding and awe-inspiring Bugatti Veyron, the world's fastest street-legal production car, is taking a stationary stance on life in the ultra contemporary designed residential homes.
The name takes its cue from Ettore Bugatti, the French founder of one of the most coveted vehicles of the modern age, and the 971 international calling code for Dubai. The architecture mirrors the aerodynamic curves of the car. Of course cars have been a leading design inspiration, the key feature of these state-of-the-art homes is the interior car display unit, allowing owners to display their Bugatti's as ornaments in the home, whilst still being able to drive them right out. Residents will also be able to look out over the Tiger Woods designed Trump World Golf Club, which will be right on their doorstep.
