Bottega Veneta Home unveils new furniture at Salone Del Mobile

A combination of superb craftsmanship and modern design

At this year’s Salon del Mobile, Bottega Veneta made a grand return with its new expanded Home Collection

This week, the luxury leather good's brand introduced new aspects to its furniture including innovative colour, texture and material to enrich the iconic styles of the collection. As always Bottega Veneta's stunning earthy creations were combined with excellent craftsmanship and everyday functionality.

Among the many noteworthy additions was a luxurious table lamp crafted of transparent handmade Murano glass, featuring a coaxial leather-covered wire, in addition to Bottega Veneta's first rechargeable light offering.

New Rugs, chairs – produced in collaboration with master furniture maker Poltrona Frau – and silver flatware were also unveiled.

A variety of new materials were introduced including black marble with yellow streaks from Tunisia ("Black & Gold") and a light grey/beige marble from Turkey ("Mystic Brown"), offering new options for table tops. New wood offerings include oak in four different finishes as well.

"The evolution of our Home collection has been purposefully gradual and deliberate, as we have never been interested in doing anything flashy or of-the-moment," says Creative Director Tomas Maier, "Some of these new pieces are more rustic, others more refined, but each one is versatile, functional and beautifully crafted to last a lifetime."
