Announced: The 2017 Index Architecture & Design Awards nominees are...
Office of the Future, Gold on 27, Level Shoes
The Index Architecture & Design Awards (IADA) has officially announced the nominees for this year's event. Previously called the Middle East Interior Design & Architecture Awards, the revamped edition this year sees 32 finalists competing in eight categories including Best Restaurant, Best Residential and Best Hospitality.
"There is just no slowing down the design ambitions of Dubai and the UAE; the quality of all of our entries once again underlined that fact," said Samantha Kane-Macdonald, event director at Index, the region's largest annual interior exhibition. "Our panel has been left speechless by the works of our ever-expanding design community. The innovation, flair and drive-for-the-different has made us all take a step back to appreciate the inspiration these designers have shown."
High-profile nominees in this year's final shortlist include Office of the Future, the world's first functional 3D-printed building as well as the uber luxurious Gold on 27 at Burj Al Arab. See the full list of nominees here...
