The Trion Nemesis aims to break the 'Sports Car Land Speed' record
A supercar at super speed
A supercar set to be fitted with a 2,000 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine, plans for the all-American 'Trion Nemesis' have been revealed, showing technology that will send it to an estimated speed of over 270mph, all the while being able to achieve 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.
Living up to its name, the 'Nemesis' will be offered in hybrid and electric versions, and feature an eight-speed sequential transmission, active aerodynamics and several driving modes, including a 'predator' mode with modified height, suspension, exhaust and wheel revolution limits. It will be constructed with a carbon fibre chassis and body with Inconel alloy for good measure, making it quite aesthetically pleasing, too.
