The Croatian-built supercar is divided into four sub-systems, each consisting of one motor, inverter and reduction gearbox. Each smart system drives one wheel, completely independent one from the other. Sophisticated and advanced ECUs control each of those systems using the input of many precise sensors placed all over the car. The total system output exudes 1,088 hp and 1,180 lb-ft of torque.

The Detroit Electric SP:01
The limited-edition car features carbon fiber bodywork from Detroit Electric. Powering up the car are two 37-kWh lithium-polymer batteries and an AC electric motor which combined pump out 201hp and 166lb-ft of torque — good enough to propel the SP:01 from 0-60 MPH in under 4 seconds. The car company claims it is the fast pure-electric production car.
