The 'royal' car arrives in the Middle East
Enhancements inside and out
Mercedes-Benz has released its new G-Class range in the Middle East. Traditionally, the G-Class is a preferred choice for many of the region's royal families — Dubai's ruler His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is known to have a G 63 AMG, complete with the number plate 1, while his son Sheikh Hamdan also has a one-of-a-kind mini version of the popular range.
Now, the new model arrives in the Middle East, bringing with it new and improved technology as well as high-class equipment. Equipped with a new engine and subtle restyling of the exterior, the new generation is set to continue its successful legacy in the region.
"The G-Class always wants to get ahead," said Dirk Fetzer, Director of Sales & Marketing at Daimler Middle East & Levant. "With its peerless characteristics, proven technology, unsurpassed driving comfort and excellent functionality, the G-Class is a clear icon in the segment of true off-roaders. The new model will be highly welcomed by car enthusiasts in the Middle East as the G-Class offers them what they are always looking for — the best or nothing."
To add to the level of personalisation, a new colour package is available and these range from solar beam, tomato red, alien green, sunset beam and galactic beam. The interior topstitching is colour-matched to the paintwork just to further increase the bespoke feel of an already luxurious car.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class comes in two variants, the G 500 and G 63 and prices are upon request. For more information, visit Mercedes-Benz.
