BMW releases its new concept: The Roadster Motorcycle
Debuted along the stunning shores of Lake Como
The new Concept Roadster packs the German brand's classic two-cylinder boxer engine displacing 1,170 cubic centimeters and produces 123 horsepower and 92 pound-feet of torque. The colossal power is routed to the rear wheel via a drive shaft, with a single-sided swing arm rear suspension — all nestled in a glistening tubular frame.
The futuristic design features a thin strip of LEDs for the headlights, with its dark engine and lightly painted fuel tank as the most prominent visual features.
BMW stated the rear portion is made from a single piece of milled aluminum with visible tool marks to give it an industrialised look, while the seat itself is wrapped in Alcantara leather to provide some comfort.
