Porsche’s newest hybrid sedan is an upgrade from last year’s Panamera S hybrid, and can be distinguished by the eye-catching green calipers

The luxury car manufacturer has added an updated version of its hybrid vehicle, The Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid.

The car can either run on fuel or electricity, or a combination of two, and has an new and more efficient high voltage battery that allows it to be charged more proficiently, by connecting it to a 240V outlet, and even giving it the ability to charge while driving in a process called recuperation.

The Hybrid is the epitome of comfort as it eludes discharge of harmful emissions, and can drive silently for up to 83 mph, as well as reaching speeds of 60 mph in about 5 seconds if both engines work together. The two engines both have individual strengths, with the combustion engine being a 3.0-litre supercharged V6, and the electric engine generating 95 horsepower.

The smooth quality of driving is what the Panamera S E-Hybrid looks to achieve, and with a combination of safety, luxury and efficacy, it might just be the most respectable mode of transport on the roads today.
