The Discovery is set to transition from a single model to a new family of vehicles, aiming to redefine the leisure SUV category.
"We announced at the Geneva Motor Show back in March that the Discovery family is set to evolve. And it is apt that in the 25th anniversary year of the original Discovery that we preview how this evolution will take us forward into a daring new era," said Phil Popham, Group Marketing Director of Jaguar Land Rover, continuing, "The Discovery Vision Concept gives us the first stunning glimpse into this hugely exciting future."
The advanced interior of the seven-passenger car highlights both a unique and versatile space. The design is focused on a futuristic design, as it includes features such as Gesture Control, Remote Control Drive, laser headlights, Laser Terrain Scanning and its impressive Transparent Bonnet. Most of the new technology is set to also be applied to Land Rover's production vehicles over the next decade.
