The 1907 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost replica for children
Sports car replicas are commonplace in affluent Middle Eastern households, and the sight of a children's party with some Range Rover 4x4 styles parked outside (the playground) are nothing groundbreaking.
But this? This is different. With an electric motor and costing a mere $25,000 is a scale replica of a 1907 Silver Ghost AX201 by Rolls Royce. The original Silver Ghost won Rolls-Royce the 'best car in the world' tag back in the 1920's and a real full-sized 1907 Silver Ghost will be worth somewhere more like $50 million.
This meticulously crafted EV for kids even boasts a 'Spirit of Ecstasy' mascot for its tiny aluminum hood and was in fact sold at Bonham's Goodwood Revival sale recently. It has a top speed of 8mph and gets its power from a 24-volt electric motor. The car also features pedals for accelerator and brake, rack-and-pinion steering, fully working headlights, a hand brake, and bulb horn. The front seats can also be removed so that adults can fit into the pint sized space and have some fun.
