Keanu Reeves' company Arch Motorcycle Co. debuts its first motorcycle
Perhaps it was his lead role as the daredevil Neo in the legendary Matrix films that kickstarted his thirst for speed, but besides owning a envy-inducing collection of fast cars and bikes – a Hollywood standard – Reeves has gone one step further and made it his business.
The 50-year-old Beirut-born actor founded the Arch Motorcycle Co. with designer and engineer Gard Hollinger back in 2007, and now – after seven years of research and development – the company have launched its first production motorcycle.
Called the KRGT-1, the bike is based on an initial concept first presented in 2012. Industry pioneers S&S Cycle and Baker Drivetrain helped to develop the impressive looking bike, which marries classic design and high-tech manufacturing techniques.
The motor is powered by a roaring 2-litre S&S v-twin engine and paired to a six-speed Baker Drivetrain transmission.
The KRGT-1 starts at $78,000 and is exclusively available via the company's official website
