Introducing the Jaguar F-Type Project 7
A nod to race cars
The F-Type Project 7 is said to be one of Jaguar's fastest cars to date, due to its 575 horsepower 5.0L V8 engine. The formidable feature allows the car to propel from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, while being able to reach a maximum speed of 186 mph.
The aesthetic characteristics of the car take inspiration from previous Jaguar race cars, with a carbonfibre shell to reduce mass, as well as an emergency Bimini roof that will keep drivers dry when it rains. The steering wheel will have an alcantara or leather finish, as well as bucket seats, which will be draped in quilted leather. For people who are looking for something that projects the race car vibe even more, four-point harnesses will be available by custom order.
Only 250 samples of the model will be produced, and deliveries are expected to commence in 2015.
