With a stunning location and equally stunning cars, Ferrari's new video has put the spotlight squarely on the region once again. Buro 24/7 Middle East shares the first look...

Ferrari has released a new video titled Deserto Rosso, Italian for Red Desert. Shot in a cycle, from dusk until dawn, the video sees the automaker's popular California T models manoeuvring along the stretches of roads surrounded by the majestic sand dunes of Abu Dhabi's famed Liwa Oasis, known to have some of the highest peaks in the world.

This is the second time in recent months where the Liwa desert has starred in a film; the  site was also the preferred location for the blockbuster movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Middle East continues to be one of the biggest markets for Ferrari and the new video pays homage to that fact, juxtaposing the brand's symbolic red colour against the deep red tones of the desert.
