BMW release first images of its 2015 M4 Convertible
Enhanced luxury, speed and style
The German car manufacturer will follow up the highly-anticipated 2015 M3 sedan and M4 coupe with its world debut of an all new M4 convertible at this month's New York International Auto Show.
The sleek M4 Convertible joins its fellow M models as holds the M TwinPower Turbo 3.0-litre inline-six engine, producing up to 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of Torque. This speed is enough to propel the convertible from 0-100 kilometres per hour in 4.6 seconds with the six-speed manual, or 4.4 seconds with the seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
The M4 Convertible's new design includes muscular contour lines, three large air intakes along the M4's front apron and BMW M double-spoke wheels.
The new M4 is also said to be quieter than its M3-based predecessor, as well as having slightly more trunk space. Another new feature is the convertible roof, which takes about 20 seconds to open and close, and can be done while moving at up to a speed of 18 kilometres per hour.
The 2015 BMW M4 Convertible will arrive in UAE and other GCC countries showrooms by early next year, with it arrival in the US set for this summer.
