High flying: Bentley unveil seven special edition handmade GT Speeds
Inspired by Breitling jets
Bentley has found inspiration from the Breitling Jets flying display team and set its personalisation department, Mulliner, to design a limited edition run of only seven versions of the Continental GT Speed. And the special edition models will be displayed for the first time at the Boeing Seafair Airshow in Seattle on July 31.
The car design is a re-imagining of the Continental GT Speed incorporating aesthetic elements of the distinctive Breitling Jets. The exteriors see a bright pop of the exact pantone of Breitling's unique yellow, reflecting the trademark look of the L-39 Albatros Jets. A scheme which continues in the interiors, highlighting accents of the upholstery and dashboard.
The Breitling Jets is the largest civilian flying display team in the world and will play a key role in handing over the keys to the seven car's new owners, as all have already been sold, the owner of the car will receive the keys from the corresponding plane's pilot.
