Audi reveals new TT design ahead of the Geneva Motor Show
Introducing the 2015 Audi TT
Newly released drawings reveal the futuristic 2015 Audi TT taking design inspiration from Audi's mid-engined R8 supercar, it seems, yet still holding an element from the past – as it shares a large resemblance to the original TT from 1998.
The third generation TT exhibits subtle changes, including a reshaped grille, more prominent wheel arches, and narrower headlights; which will have optional LED technology or Matrix LED headlights.
The interior was actually already introduced last month at the Consumer Electronics Show, with Audi stating that the car's dashboard will feature a large 12.3-inch screen monitor set to display "all the information that the driver would like to know", directly in front of them.
Audi has not mentioned any information on the engine offerings yet, although it's expected to be powered by dual exhaust pipes with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual clutch S-tronic gearbox and steering-wheel shift paddles.
With no mention of how much the 2015 Audi TT will cost, the first model is likely to go on sale later this year — with a turbo-diesel and a high performance TT RS to follow in 2015.
The 2015 Audi TT will premiere at the International Geneva Motor Show this March.
