Introducing the Audi Sport Quattro 2014
A revamped classic
The Audio Sport Quattro - the latest innovative technology concept car by the German car manufacturer which, will be introduced at the 2014 Electronics Show in Las Vegas. A hybrid of old vs. new - the car is reminiscent of the classic Sport Quattro of 1983 but with features that take us way into the future, with fascinating technologies.
The plug-in hybrid drive system is capable of producing up to 700 horse power with 590 lb-ft from a 4.0 liter TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine. "The new show car demonstrates technical 'Vorsprung' on many levels," says Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg - member of the board of management of AUDI AG for technical development. "On-board this car we have e-tron technology with 515 kW of power and 2.5 l/100 km (94.09 US mpg) fuel economy; laser headlights that leave all previous systems in the dark with its higher performance as well as new display and operating systems with cutting-edge electronic performance. We are showing the future of Audi here."
