Buro 24/7 announces a seventh global edition for Australia
Miroslava Duma's digital media empire is launching down under
With offices in Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Croatia, the Middle East and Azerbaijan, Buro 24/7 – the digital news platform that started as a small start-up in 2011 and now boasts some of the most recognisable brands as its close partners – is going down under, and launching an Australian edition.
Buro 24/7 founder Miroslava Duma and team have signed an agreement with News Corp Australia's magazine arm NewsLifeMedia to launch the Australian version of the site, which is set to go live in April 2015 – right before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia kicks off.
Buro 24/7 Australia marks the website's seventh global version, with plans to add even further countries in the near future.
"Vogue Australia leads in the prestige women's market in this country and our aim for Buro247.com.au is for it to work hand-in-hand with vogue.com.au in terms of scale and lead in the 'masstige' women's market," said NewsLifeMedia chief executive Nicole Sheffield.
Miroslava Duma shared the news to her 997,000+ followers on Instagram today, saying: "We are honoured to announce the launch of Buro 24/7 Australia in partnership with NewsLifeMedia, an innovative and forward thinking company with an impeccable reputation and a great professional team. We anticipate this partnership to be extremely fruitful and longstanding. Australia has been on our radar for some time now as we love its vibrant culture, wonderfully warm people and its unique and fast."
