SIHH 2017 spotlight: Cartier
Cartier channels the majestic beauty of the panther this SIHH 2017 with the unveiling of new editions to its iconic Panthère de Cartier collection. Admittedly a jewellery piece more than a timepiece, the new watches combine the sleek persona of the beast with a modern cut and finish, amplified by the stunning yellow gold and enhanced by the diamonds. Options are also aplenty as the new collection comes in pink gold, white gold and steel while for an edgier aesthetic, a black enamel-spotted timepiece mimicking the spots of the panther, is available. For those seeking more exclusivity, the limited and numbered edition of the Panthère de Cartier featuring black lacquer will be the coveted piece.
In addition to the Panthère de Cartier collection, Cartier also presented two new pieces within their highly successful Drive de Cartier collection. The first is an ultra-thin timepiece with a thickness of less than 7mm and is limited to only 200 pieces. The other must-see watch features moon phases which needs correcting only every 125 years.
The new Panthère de Cartier collection will be officially launched in June. Meanwhile, discover Van Cleef & Arpels' SIHH 2017 novelties.
