Panerai releases the new Luminor Due collection
Luxury watchmaker Panerai has unveiled its latest Luminor Due collection. Drawing inspiration from the watches worn by the Italian Navy in the 1930s to 1950s, the new collection once again demonstrates the maison's masterful marriage of Swiss technical precision with fine Italian design.
The new timepieces see a reduction of up to 40 percent in size as compared to the original models, consequently resulting in a watch that is lighter and offers a different sensation when worn. Available in stainless steel or red gold cases, the new collection features both manual and automatic options with the manual editions coming in 42mm, while the automatic watches come in 45mm.
Both manual and automatic variations feature the brand's distinctive bridge element over the crown, a sapphire crystal back to showcase each individual exceptional mechanical movements as well as a secondary seconds dial placed at the 9 o'clock position. Completing the stunning timepiece is the alligator strap that comes in a choice of black or turquoise.
