Time to take note: LVMH announces its first Swiss Watch Manufactures Exhibition in Dubai

Taking place in January 2020…
LVMH is committed to their watch category following the announcement that the conglomerate is set to launch its first LVMH Swiss Watch Manufactures Exhibition next year…

Watch connoisseurs and houses across the globe have a pretty busy schedule during the first half of the year with SIHH taking place in Geneva and Baselworld held in Basel, Switzerland. And whilst it’s an exciting time for enthusiasts, it seems like it’s not enough to highlight all that is new to the watchmaking industry.

With that being said, LVMH‘s Watch Division has announced that a brand new exhibition will be taking place in Dubai and it will introduce the latest news from Bvlgari, Tag Heuer, Hublot and Zenith.

A concept brought to life by the President of the LVMH Watch Division, Stéphane Bianchi and President of the Bvlgari Group, Jean-Christophe Babin, the upcoming exhibition will take place in January 2020.

“In between Geneva in January and Basel in March, we have had in the recent years two major presentations in the first quarter,” explained Babin. “This early discovery of our strategies, news and novelties has allowed our media and retail partners to better plan the year ahead and as such we have decided on this set up for 2020 to balance the scheduling of the other events.”

Bianchi also made a statement and said: “We remain very supportive and loyal to Baselworld and the Swiss watchmaking industry. However, it was not possible for us to go 13 months without a global presentation of our products and brands. This additional event further confirms the LVMH commitment to the strategic and profitable watch category.”

The LVMH Swiss Watch Manufactures Exhibition will take place at the Bvlgari Hotel Dubai, in January 2020. Make sure to watch this space for more details.
