Exclusive: Inside the Swarovski Neo-Arabia photoshoot
Where tradition meets modernity
Luxury jewellery maker Swarovski have collaborated with Middle Eastern influencers in a shoot, titled Neo-Arabia. Eight industry influencers including Deema Alasadi, Zahra Lyla, Mariyah Gaspacho, Fatma Husam, Salima Feerasta, Nicoleta Buru, Zarah Amira and Soraya Pena, took to the Arabian desert to showcase Swarovski's sparkling pieces.
Shot against the stunning desert backdrop near Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, the photoshoot also involves a collaboration with local and international designers, from AAVVA and Khaadi to Jean Paul Gaultier and Aigner. Special edition pieces were also aplenty including a pair of Christian Louboutin boots bedecked with Swarovski crystals.
"Having celebrated our 120th anniversary last year, for 2016 we are continuing to focus on the importance of the Middle East and South Asia as both a creative and a fashion hub," said Andrew Mojica, Managing Director Swarovski Middle East. "The region is widely recognised for bringing together the traditional and modern and Swarovski is using this marriage of old and new to demonstrate its collaboration with some of the most talented designers and influencers here and internationally."
