Sophie Turner rocks the first high jewellery piece designed by Louis Vuitton’s Francesca Amfitheatrof

Here's what you need to know about the diamonds on her neck...
Sophie Turner walked the Emmys' red carpet this morning and whilst donned in a Louis Vuitton creation, the nominee fronted a one-of-a-kind statement jewellery piece...

It’s no surprise that Sophie Turner makes our heads turn every time she walks the red carpet. The Game of Thrones actress can literally rock any look (we mean it) and look SO good. Case in point: she made our top ‘best-dressed celebrities‘ list for all the glamour we saw this morning at the Emmy Awards.

Whilst it was obvious that the newlywed had her eyes set on a full look by Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière, Turner also fronted another piece of art, sitting pretty on her neck.

The set of never-seen-before jewels were designed by Louis Vuitton’s current Artistic Director of Jewellery and Watches, Francesca Amfitheatrof, and marked the first time the High Jewellery piece was pictured on a red carpet.

Previously at Tiffany & Co., Amfitheatrof joined the Louis Vuitton maison just last year and brand ambassador Turner, couldn’t have been a better fit to front the necklace design, titled L’armure. Along with the necklace, the actress wore a ring (also from the Riders of the Knights Collection) and both pieces are crafted in white gold and adorned in baguette cut diamonds.

Adding to the stunning jewellery pieces, the nominee wore a custom satin gown by Ghesquière.

This isn’t the first time Turner fronted a custom piece by the Creative Director. For her wedding to Joe Jonas earlier this summer, the newlywed opted for a cut-out back, deep V neckline, sheer fitted sleeves and a voluminous skirt complete with intricate embellished details — all created by Ghesquière.
