Hermes presents first new watch collection in almost 20 years
Each year Baselworld presents some stunning world debuts of both highly anticipated and, more rarely, surprise collections. This year's Geneva gathering is no different, as one of our most significant takeaways from Baselworld 2015 is the new Hermès watch range – Slim d'Hermès –i first in almost 20 years.
The unisex collection has been designed by La Montre Hermès Creative Director, Philippe Delhotal. Slim by name and slim by nature, the style comes in three different sizes; 39.5mm, 32mm and 25mm. With elegant straps available in a range of quality hardwearing luxury materials including steel, calf leather and alligator.
Watch faces are presented in a choice of chic finishes of stainless steel or rose gold casing. There is also the option to personalise with additional diamonds on the front of the case.
With Hermès having so many of the ingredients for the perfect watch in-house, from the Swiss movement maker Vaucher, case maker Joseph Erard and dial maker Natebar, and the straps being expertly crafted in the Hermès Swiss workshop, each watch is finished by hand to the exacting Hermès standards. The full range will be available for purchase in October.
