Hublot x Womanity Foundation: Two limited edition timepieces
Luxury for a cause
Luxury watchmaker Hublot has released two limited edition timepieces for the Womanity Foundation charity gala, recently held in Geneva. A strong advocate of equality, the brand has particularly aligned itself with the Womanity Foundation's mission statement. "They are our present and our future," said Hublot's chairman Jean-Claude Biver. "If equality is a fundamental right for individuals, we must continue to ensure that it is respected and, above all, encouraged in every country in the world."
Utilising the Foundation's corporate identity, both its colour and signature, Hublot created the special edition watches, each one individually numbered. Limited to 100 pieces, the two timepieces are inspired by both femininity and strength.
The first Big Bang Womanity watch features a 41mm case, with a dial that is set with 11 diamonds. Inspired by jeans, the face as well as the strap is clad in the material, accented by purple stitching. Meanwhile, the second timepiece features a 44mm case that is made entirely from carbon fibre, along with the bezel and dial. Once again, splashes of mauve can be seen, particularly on the tip of the second hand, the numbers within the dial as well as the stitching on the strap. The foundation's logo is emblazoned across both case backs.
