Horology must-have: The Slim d'Hermès Quantième Perpétuel Platine
A Baselworld preview
French luxury brand Hermès has unveiled its horological offering for the year: the Slim d'Hermès Quantième Perpétuel Platine. While a pink gold version of the watch is already available, the new platinum-based watch offers a new time-keeping experience especially with its deep blue dial. Within that stunning dial sits the exceptional moon phase – created from mother-of-pearl – as well as the perpetual calendar and dual time subdials.
Perhaps the most amazing aspect of the coveted new timepiece however is the maison's mastery in combining these complications into a case that's a mere 4mm thick. Complementing the exquisite case is the alligator leather strap, called Abyss Blue, which enhances the savoir-faire with a touch of classic chic.
The Slim d'Hermès Quantième Perpétuel Platine will officially make its debut at Baselworld 2017 which runs from March 23-30. Meanwhile, discover the social media-inspired Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday.
