After setting a world record in 2014, Bulgari has created another history-maker within the same collection. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

Bulgari has set the world record for the thinnest minute repeater, ever. With a movement that measures a mere 3.12mm and a total case thickness of 6.85mm, the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater is a true horological wonder and it's the latest timepiece to be added to Bulgari's ultra thin collection, which continue to push the limits of innovation in the industry.

"This chiming watch sets a new standard within the field of the highly complicated extra-thin creations and follows the Octo Tourbillon Finissimo world record launched in 2014," said Guido Terreni, Managing Director of Bulgari Horlogerie. "With the new Minute Repeater, the Maison is laying a new milestone in the field of incomparably slim timepieces."

Alongside the presentation of the record-breaking timepiece, Bulgari also unveiled the Serpenti Incantati line. "Serpenti is Bulgari's proprietary signature, our emblem and symbol," explained Bulgari's CEO Jean-Christophe Babin. "This strong figure has always been executed as a wrist coiled creation: Tubogas, Jewellery and High Jewellery."
