Baselworld 2014: Showcasing the latest innovations in the world of watches and jewellery
A myriad of top class brands including Zenith and Breguet
From March 27 to April 3, more than 150,000 visitors are expected to attend Baselworld – the world's leading watch and jewellery event.
Held annually in Basel, Switzerland, the event attracts people from far and wide, the majority being buyers and sellers of watches and jewellery and precious stones. For exhibitors, the event is ultimately a highlight of the year – a chance for them to showcase the latest products, trends and innovations.
Last year over 1,400 exhibitors from across 40 different countries featured at the event. Amongst this year's exhibitor are Zenith, which will be showing the 'El Primero 410' model. The new watch features a Calibre 410 – a movement well-known to watch collectors. Zenith will also exhibit the limited edition 'Pilot Montred'Aeronef Type 20 GMT 1903' – a tribute to aviation pioneers Wilbur and Orville Wright.
Breguet will also be on hand to woo visitors with its latest pieces including the 'Breguet Classique Grande Complication Tourbillon Extra-thin Automatic 5377' – a beautiful watch combining timeless aesthetic and technological vanguard.
