Atelier Swarovski enters the world of fine jewellery
Famed crystal house creates an exclusive one-off collection
Collaborator and old friend of the brand Matthew Campbell Laurenza first designed for Swarovski back in 2012, with a collection of anatomically correct flower and insect shaped sculptures – all adorned with Swarovski gemstones, titled 'Jeweled Garden'.
Today, Campbell Laurenza and Atelier Swarovski join forces again to unveil their newest collection, also named Jeweled Garden, which extends the beautiful past creations into what the designer describes as "wearable art". He goes on to say, "The theme is a parallel universe to our reality where insects and flora rule the world and humans are just spectators, I played with many direct organic forms and shapes to design pieces, which are meant to appear as if they were picked from a magical garden to adorn the wearer."
The stunning new line features eight rings, four bracelets and three necklaces, consisting of semi-precious and precious Swarovski gemstones, such as multicoloured sapphires, amethyst, rodolite garnets, spinals and topaz – all set in 18-karat gold.
Each piece in the collection is one-of-a-kind and will exclusively carried at Bergdorf Goodman in New York starting today, with prices ranging from $8,750, up to $118,000.
