An iconic Montblanc timepiece gets a fresh update that combines two editions into one. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

When Montblanc added to its Heritage Chronométrie collection at SIHH 2015, it introduced two new pieces: the ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph as well as its Vasco De Gama limited edition. Now, Montblanc has combined the two pieces, taking the dial from the limited edition piece and combining it with the red gold elements of the non-limited edition. The result is a stunning new watch that takes the collection to a new aesthetic level.

Apart from the 44mm red gold case, the new timepiece also features red gold-plated hour and minute hands as well as a red-gold plated bridge mechanism at the bottom half of the dial. The upper part however mimics the Vasco de Gama edition, with its dark blue glittering dial, to reflect the starry night sky and a single piece of diamond shaped in the Montblanc logo placed at the 12 o'clock position. As well, Montblanc has launched a diamond-set edition that is only limited to 28 pieces.

The Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph Collection is available in now available in Montblanc boutiques worldwide. Also, stepping away from watches, Montblanc has paid tribute to William Shakespeare with the release of a stunning writing instrument
