One of Chopard's most iconic models is transformed into four new elegant variations
Your next piece of arm candy
Last year marked a quarter of a century since Chopard launched its now-iconic Happy Sport timepiece, evoking a playful variation of the Happy Diamonds watch collection (debuted in 1976).
Its timeless approach to watchmaking and craftsmanship has put the Happy Sport creation on the emblematic list of the Geneva-based brand and has become a go-to piece of arm candy for women around the globe.
Perhaps in part due to its loose diamonds or gems — which appear to float "happily" over the dial — the Happy Sport collection has an eye for beauty and inventiveness, and now, four new variations have been added to the ever-growing portfolio.
The collection's quintessential moving diamonds are reimagined with a new oval-shaped case — the Happy Sport Oval.
Expanding the stylistic repertoire of Chopard's icon, the new shape takes its soft elegance and femininity from the streamlined curves and lighter, airier and closely fitting proportions.
What makes this launch even more special is that for the first time, the Happy Sport Oval will be available in a beautiful 18-carat white gold version featuring a bezel of five blue sapphires. The piece comes complete with a textured mother-of-pearl dial and the royal blue leather strap of this iconic watch.
In addition to the first set of sapphires twirling around the Happy Sport Oval dial, the luxury house is also offering two new versions of its iconic 30 mm diameter round model.
True to Chopard watches, the powerful technical sophistication and luminous apparel is vibrant as the new models are adorned with a glowing exterior, combining two-tone stainless and 18-carat rose gold. Also, the round Happy Sport with its 30 mm diameter is home to a presence of five dancing diamonds framed by a polished or diamond-set rose gold bezel.
