Dior celebrates launch of Rose des Vents jewellery collection with short film series
Based on the charming illustrations by Victoire de Castellane
Dior is celebrating the impending launch of its new fine jewellery line with a series of delightful animated short films based on the fanciful illustrations by Victoire de Castellane’s, who imagines a string of fictional encounters with Monsieur Dior.
The jewellery collection, Rose des Vents, is due for release on June 3 around the world with an early release in France on May 11. The sparkling designs centre around four precious jewels; mother of pearl, pink opal, turquoise and lapis lazuli, and each jewel features in its own animated film.
Take a look at the first charming film, which portrays an imaginary party preparation between de Castellane and Christian Dior at the famed Dior headquarters on Avenue Montaigne in Paris. The sparkling lapis lazuli jewels serve in place of a disco ball, illuminating the room.
The Rose des Vents collection will consist of four bracelets, four necklaces and one long necklace, prices range from 1,350 euros to 8,000 euros. Stay tuned to Buro 24/7 Middle East for more on this fine jewellery collection.
