Syrian-born couture designer Rami Al Ali presented his Spring/Summer '17 collection at the Hotel Ritz during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Inspired by the famed cherry blossoms, Rami Al Ali's seasonal collection reimagines the iconic Japanese kimono in light colour tones – beige, pink and silver grey – while showcasing a mastery of fine materials with the use of tulle and silk.
