Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week: Chanel Spring/Summer '18
It was a French fairytale in a formal garden...
At the iconic Grand Palais, Karl Lagerfeld hosted Chanel's latest show today that was as exceptional as it was exquisite. Known for staging iconic runway shows, including the Cruise '18 and Fall/Winter '17 presentations, the designer yet again used the Grand Palais as the backdrop for the Spring/Summer '18 couture runway show.
During the show, pretty-in-pink gowns, signature boucle suits, tweeded shorts, skirts and floral lace dresses with intricate embellished details, voluminous cuts and extravagant feathers all made their way down the runway.
A noteworthy moment from the show was model-of-the-moment Kaia Gerber making her couture debut. The 16-year-old (who recently announced a capsule collection project with Karl Lagerfeld) was spotted wearing a show-stopping powder pink dress.
