First look: Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2015

Silk and the city

For Pre-Fall, the American designer took to the more covered look instead of revealing it all, creating his collection with a heap of glamour, a sprinkle of charm and a dash of mystery...

Zac Posen played on the notion of allure for his latest ensembles, keeping his silhouettes close to the body and bias cut, in warm shades and rich fabrics. Posen unveiled some interesting Pre-Fall 15 styles, from a silk halter-style dress with an attached, floor-length cape to a pumpkin-orange silk dress that wrapped around the models shoulders and neck.

Meanwhile, moving away from his more dramatic gowns, there were also some daytime looks that were just as chic, such as a peplum blouse and long skirt in a dotted silk chiffon and a leopard print jacket worn over blue silk bell-bottoms (a trouser shape which is part of Posen's daily uniform)
