Vivienne Westwood's new photo-campaign for Save The Arctic
Featuring George Clooney, Chris Martin and others
Fashion's rebel queen Vivienne Westwood has recently decided to hold back on her own business expansion in order to help save the Arctic, and concentrate more on her political beliefs. "I have decided not to expand any more. In fact, I want to do the opposite," she said, adding, "I am now more interested in quality rather than quantity."
In a recent effort to promote Greenpeace's Save The Arctic campaign, the environmentalist designer has launched a photo series backed by George Clooney and singers Paloma Faith and Chris Martin in order to help communicate the threat of climate change, and how world audiences need to make it a priority.
The portraits include Clooney, Martin, Monty Python's Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam, Jerry Hall, Georgia May Jagger, actress Saffron Burrows, and the designer herself, captured by award-winning photographer Andy Gotts MBE.
