A collection of rare, vintage images from the YSL archive are set to go on display at a unique exhibition in Paris later this month. Take a closer look here...

On June 11 a new exhibition of unique photographs by father and daughter Pierre and Alexandra Boulat will open its doors in Paris. The insightful show will explore Yves Saint Laurent's career – from his debut at Christian Dior to his final fashion show in 2002.

Organised in partnership with Fondation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent, the exhibition will run until September 10 and will feature 36 vintage images at the DS World Paris, a showcase for Citroën's DS cars located in the French capital's Golden Triangle.

Pierre Boulat was of Life magazine's key photographers and captured many of Laurent's early career moments. Bergé said in an official statement: "Meeting Pierre Boulat was amazing. He was with us almost day and night. We realized we were creating together a memoir."

The Pierre and Alexandra Boulat YSL exhibit runs June 11–September 10 2015, at DS World Paris
