In aid of Born Free
Beckham will create exclusive mother-and-child pieces for the charity Born Free - unveiling a dress with a matching mini-me version on her Twitter account yesterday afternoon.
The designer and mother of four is just one of a huge list of prestigious names collaborating on the project, which includes Alberta Ferretti, Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, Celine, Chloe, DKNY, Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, J Crew, Marchesa, Marni, Prada, Rachel Roy, Stella McCartney, Tori Burch, Vera Wang and Versace will also create pieces that will be exclusively available on ShopBop.com.
Supermodel and philanthropist Gisele Bündchen is also collaborating on the incentive, which includes clothing and accessories for women and children. Models Doutzen Kroes and Karolina Kurkova have also been photographed with their children for the collection, which will be revealed in full next week and will be available to buy from April 23.
Born Free's sole aim is to end the transmission of HIV from mothers to their children by December 31, 2015.
