Versace's next runway show will be a little different than in previous years. Here's why...

Versace is the latest luxury label to jump onto the coed bandwagon as the brand announced it will combine its men's and women's runway shows into one during Milan Fashion Week in February.

For Donatella Versace, the move celebrates the maison's personality and fluidity as the coed showcase will highlight a more intertwined Versace — with a blend of ideas and themes influencing both men's and women's designs.

This will mark the first time Versace will show its womenswear and menswear collections together, kicking off with a combined collection for Fall/Winter '20.

Speaking of the move, Donatella said: "Today, we live in a society in which we are all talking to one another and influencing the way we look at things. This has happened to me as well and this is why I felt the need to concentrate my creative focus, and design a collection with one point of view, one vision, one world of Versace. It's not just about inclusivity and diversity, it's about being equal, also on the runway."
