Valentino launches luxury pop-up store in Harrods
A rockstud-adorned Christmas
Valentino has given some of its iconic design an ultra-luxurious makeover for Harrods' discerning clientele this month for an all new pop-up boutique.
The dedicated vibrant space – which will remail open until January 3 – was designed by renowned architect David Chipperfield and will offer a variety of exclusive arm candy and clothing. Among the new accessories is a mini shoulder bag in black crocodile skin with 18-carat gold hardware, priced at around $132,000, as well as red crocodile shoulder bag with gold hardware, priced at $76,000.
Aside from accessories, there are also embellished versions of the rainbow-striped dresses from Valentino's Cruise 2015 collection. Head designers of the Italian fashion house, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, have even created Christmas baubles in blown glass, hand-painted with colourful stripes and the coveted Rockstud handbags come in beautiful hues of pink, red, yellow and turquoise – with many exclusive to the pop-up.
The Valentino pop-up is open at Harrods London from now until January 3 2015
