2014 marks a dawn of The New York Times, following of Eric Wilson and the appointment of Matthew Schneier

An official representative has confirmed the resignation of Cathy Horyn this afternoon from The New York Times: "Cathy's reasons for leaving are personal ones, to spend more with her partner, Art Ortenberg, who has had health problems, and whom she feels would benefit greatly from her increased presence at home."

Horyn has been a respected fashion critic and industry insider since she joined the newspaper back in 1999, and is renowned for her no-frills critique, with Lady Gaga even rewriting a song in Horyn's "honour".
