Buro 24/7 Exclusive: Chanel Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas Party
After the show it's the after party...
Karl Lagerfeld chose Dallas, Texas for this year's staging of Chanel's annual Métiers d'Art show, in homage to the city that welcomed Mademoiselle Coco Chanel in her post-war return to the fashion industry, when Paris shunned her.
In respect for the location, the collection was peppered with cowboy chic fringing, and wild-west influence, Chanel style, and guests watched the film The Return from vintage Chevrolets. The after show party was held in a western style bar atmosphere complete with a mechanical bull, which was happily ridden by models Laura Love and Poppy Delevingne.
