This legendary fashion school is opening in Dubai

Your future in fashion awaits...
Recognised for training the young talents of the future, Istituto Marangoni gears up for its next opening in Dubai...

Fashion has always held an integral part of the Middle East’s culture. But, if you look for any fashion schools in the region, there aren’t that many that truly offer a curriculum in fashion. Until Istituto Marangoni decided to launch its first project in the Gulf. The potential seen in the Arab market was first discovered through a market study, one that confirmed that there were no structured schools in the region with an articulated offer on fashion, art and interior design studies.

Positioning Istituto Marangoni as the first international school specialising in fashion and design, the new Dubai school will mirror the courses provided by the legendary fashion school including preparatory courses, three-year degrees and post-graduate courses lasting one year, dedicated to Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Interior Design and Visual Design. For those that graduate, they’ll obtain a diploma validated by the Ministry of Education with validity in all Arab countries.

Kicking off its courses in September 2022, the new Dubai School – located in DIFC – will bring an academic offer of the highest level to the UAE and aims to train the next generations of professionals in the fashion world, with special attention to the talent of the new generations of Arab women. What makes the courses truly exciting is that 70% of the institution’s teachers will come from Italy while the others will be recruited locally and there will be the possibility of enriching one’s academic path by attending one of the nine schools of the network present at international level.

“We are very proud to finally bring to Dubai the excellence of Made in Italy to higher education,” explains Stefania Valenti, Istituto Marangoni Managing Director. “The new school is part of a broader long-term project of expansion and collaboration with the other Arab Gulf States and of promoting the many professional and academic opportunities that this part of the world offers thanks also to increasingly enlightened investments for the future of young talents.”

The Dubai campus joins the list of Marangoni schools which includes two buildings in Milan (one dedicated to interior design) and locations in Florence, Paris, London, and Mumbai.
